Your Personal Information

We collect the email addresses of those who communicate with us via email. When you browse our marketing pages, we track that for analytical purposes (conversion rates and testing new designs). We will also store any information you voluntarily submit (for example, filling out a survey) for the duration of the research project or as long as it makes sense.

When you sign up for Certification Templates, we ask for your name, email address, country and company name. This allows us to personalize your new account, and send you invoices, updates, or contact you concerning your account. We’ll never give nor sell your personal information to third parties.

We do not use this technology to spy on you or otherwise invade your privacy. Analytics

We use Google Analytics to measure and evaluate access to and traffic on our services. Google operates independently from us and has its own privacy policy, which we strongly suggest you review.

Security and Storage

The Certification Templates website and service has industry standard security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under our control. While there is no such thing as perfect security on the Internet, we will take all reasonable steps to ensure the safety of your information.

All data is encrypted via SSL/TLS when transmitted from our servers to your browser. These database backups are also encrypted. Data isn’t encrypted while it’s live in our database (since it needs to be ready to send to you when you need it), but we go to great lengths to secure your data at rest.

Correcting and Updating Information

If you are our customer and would like to access or delete information that you provided, you may do so by signing in to Certification Templates and making any changes required or by emailing us at contact@certificationtemplates.com. We will respond to your request within 14 days. We may decline to process unreasonable requests or requests that are not otherwise required by local law.

We retain your information and data that we process on your behalf as long as your account is active, as needed to provide our services, and as necessary to comply with our legal obligations and to resolve disputes.

We have no direct relationship with third parties with whom our users may interact using the services. Any such party who would like to amend or delete data which may be stored in the services should direct his or her request to the applicable Certification Templates user acting as the “data controller” for such information.

Any such party who no longer wishes to be contacted by an Certification Templates user, should contact that Certification Templates user directly.

Deleted Data

When you remove your account, we delete all data associated with your account from our production database.

We do keep backups, designed for system recovery, for 30 days. The backups are purged on a rolling 30 day cycle. When an account is deleted, none of your personal data will remain on our servers past 30 days. Anything you delete from your account while it’s active will also be purged from the backups on day 30.

Deactivated users will no longer have access to your account, but their name, email addresses, and time entries will remain in your account for historical reporting purposes.

When You Download The Demo or Sample Document

When you request to download a sample document or demo files from one of our toolkits, we ask for your name, company name (which is optional) and your email address.

We use this information to email you a link to download the requested document. We may also email you after your download in order to follow up on your interest in our products and services. We will do this based on our legitimate interest in marketing to prospects for our products and services.

Your name and email address are stored on our website which is hosted with third party site. We do not use the information you provide to make any automated decisions that might affect you. Your personal data is stored for one year after you requested your download, after which it is deleted.

When You Submit a Review About Us

When you submit a review about us we record your name, your email address. We use this information to provide verified independent views about our products and services to potential customers. Your name and the content of your review (but not your email address) may be publicly displayed on our website. We will do this based on our legitimate interest in marketing our products and services.

Your details are shared with a third party reviews system which is based within the European Economic Area (EEA). We do not use the information you provide to make any automated decisions that might affect you.

Your personal data is stored for as long as we are marketing the product or services that the review refers to, after which it is deleted. You may ask us to remove your review at any time.

When You Submit an Enquiry via Our Website

When you submit an enquiry via our website, we ask you for your name, contact telephone number and email address. We use this information to respond to your query, including providing you with any requested information about our products and services. We may also email you several times after your enquiry in order to follow up on your interest and ensure that we have answered your enquiry to your satisfaction. We will do this based on our legitimate interest in providing accurate information prior to a sale.

Your enquiry is stored and processed as an email which is hosted by third party site within the European Economic Area (EEA). We do not use the information you provide to make any automated decisions that might affect you. We keep enquiry emails for two years, after which they are securely archived and kept for seven years, when we delete them.

When You Purchase a Product from Our Website

When you purchase products from us online, we ask you for your name, address, contact telephone number, email address and credit card information. We also record your IP (Internet Protocol) address, which is the address of your computer on the Internet.

We will use your information to verify your credit card details for your purchase, process your order and to send you your products. We will also send you a receipt via email and we may use your telephone number to contact you regarding your purchase.

We require this information in order to process your payment, deliver your products or services and fulfil our contract with you. We record your IP address in order to show that the correct tax was applied to the sale, which we are required to do by law.

On order value more than $500, the product will be delivered via email in 48-72 hrs subject to payment confirmation and call verification.

Our products commencing for below $500 USD will be delivered via email in 24-48 hrs subject to payment confirmation.

Your information is stored on our website, which is hosted with third party. Your credit card details are passed to a third-party payment processor which is based in the USA and is certified to the EU-US Privacy Shield (which requires effective safeguards for your information). We do not retain your credit card information. If you pay using PayPal your information is shared with PayPal.

We also share your name and email address with MailChimp so that we can send you emails about supporting you in your use of your toolkit and to request that you take part in our post-sale feedback survey, which is optional.

Your name, email address and order number are shared with third part site so that we can send you an email asking you to submit a review about our products. Entering a review is optional. We do not use the information you provide to make any automated decisions that might affect you.

Updates To This Privacy

Certification Templates reserves the right to update this policy at any time without prior notice, so please review it frequently. Any significant changes to this policy will be sent out to the registered email address of the account owners.
